Boundry reforms
It feels like this has been going on for years - I know we've had a lot of general elections recently but it feels like it's mentioned everytime for how Labour won't be able to get in power next time...
Iif they're still able to threaten people with border changes it doesn't sound like it's particularly fixed yet - is it known when it will be finished?

The Boundary Commission is due to report in 2023, in time for the 2024 election. There is another round of consultation between 22 February and 4 April 2022.

Cutting off local funding was also mentioned in the accusations.

Cummings said a few days ago that unless there was a criminal cover up, the email would be found by her.
He also said that there are plenty more party photos and revelations to come, and that he's going to say more after the report is out.
Fuck that guy. But also, popcorn.

Boris's PPS
He'll be given his p45 by the end of the day with Boris entirely predictably claiming he wasn't told and that's why he was sacked.

And given a peerage once this all blows over if Boris is still in No.10

if Boris is still in No.10
A sensible person wouldn't put money on that.

re. the blackmail allegations - various MPs coming out to say "it never happens; it's a lie" and others stating "it happens all the time" - they can't even coordinate a response
Although, having thought about it - briefing like this is the m.o. of this government (Covid guidance, etc.), so it's probably a plan to confuse and deflect. Also means you don't have to be so sharp having everyone on-message

This comment from him is a masterstroke.

When you've been got on tape plotting to get a journalist beaten up, it's tricky to get people to believe you're above a few threats to remove funding.

It is all a powerplay for C***mings. He always had the Kompromat but would he have released it had he not been sidelined?
Would he fuck.
Hard to empathize with Boris though, completely of his own making.

I think that's just a function of who has the freedom to tell the truth and who has to toe the line.
Everyone knows what whips do. I mean House of Cards was written in [checks wiki] 1989.

Oh I agree. I just wonder whether it is a deliberately confused message, given their form on other things. Probably reading too much into it.

He's holding an all-staff meeting for No.10 staff as we speak.

Your all sacked, I did nothing wrong or something along those lines ?

Actually it was just 'stop working from home and come back in' so less exciting.
Didn't sign off with "it's been a difficult few days, we've all been dragged through the mud a bit, so let's all have some bevs in the garden", I'm told.

Count Binface will not tolerate criticism of Adele.
Yesterdays defection was apparently threatened with having his constituency removed during the Boundry reforms.
