' ... circumstances beyond his control ...'
Chose to have an affair, chose to strangle his wife.
Also, another data point for kippy tendencies = dick with preference for foreign women. -

It would kind of suck to have spent ages saving up and deliberating whether to buy a Tesla... you are days away from committing to the purchase then this shit happens.
Oh, and this shit:

Fair enough.
I should probably have asked how any, rather than who.

Cliff Richard: Singer wins BBC privacy case at High Court
Sir Cliff Richard has won his privacy case against the BBC over its coverage of a police raid on his home.
High Court judge Mr Justice Mann awarded an initial £210,000 in damages"LOL ur a pedo" says Elon Musk. Probably.

Police described material found on the singer's computer as "profoundly disturbing" but Mr. Richard insists that he's going to release the album anyway.

Elon Musk was a petulant hypocritical charlatan all along? Surely not.

"the realization of the right to national self-determination in Israel is unique to the Jewish people"
as reticent as i am to use the word 'Apartheid' to describe anything other than actual 'Apartheid' - this is starting to look pretty 'Apartheid'-ey.

The most controversial clause, which appeared to pave the way for the creation of communities segregated by nationality or religion, was removed from the legislation earlier this week.
It's still bad enough.
I think that nationalism is wrong, but it's currently rearing its ugly head again all over the world. Memories are short and the lessons of the 20th century are already forgotten or were never known by many people.

You are not the only one
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jul/19/israel-adopts-controversial-jewish-nation-state-law
Clauses that were dropped in last-minute political wrangling – and after objections by Israel’s president and attorney general – would have enshrined in law the establishment of Jewish-only communities, and instructed courts to rule according to Jewish ritual law when there were no relevant legal precedents.
Apartheid-y theocracy. Just like their neighbours!

It's like the Spinach Submarine:
A Spanish official told the Associated Press at the time that someone had put a decimal point in the wrong place, and “nobody paid attention to review the calculations”.

the Spinach Submarine
You'd think a sub made of spinach would be difficult to submerge but I guess the high iron content helps.

This article was amended on 19 July 2018 because an earlier version said in the next few days the Spanish government would approve raising the total additional cost of the new submarine by €1.7m. This has been corrected to €17m.
