In general discourse the majority of what I've heard is in relation to radical Islamic speakers, with far right hate speech coming 2nd. Might just be a difference in what we pickup on.

One thing that often bigots seem to confuse; a) being called out on the shit they say, with b) a restriction on freedom of speech. Like that dude in the audience of QT from whenever it was moaning about what he "was no longer allowed to say"... unedited, on the public broadcaster's #1 discussion program... whist totally missing the irony...

But this is obviously different as it is a curtailment of freedom of speech.

I find it difficult to have any opinion on the freedom of speech issue because my judgement is being clouded by what a massive cunt this guy clearly is.

The article isn't too bad. I heard him talking about his comedy show about his dad's Alzheimer's which was also quite moving, so maybe he's getting better with age.

I'd always thought he was very arrogant and entitled just from the way he came across, possibly exaggerated more by the Monkey Dust sketches. Then it turned out that my aunt and some of her friends were at uni with him and apparently he was just as insufferable then.

Though actually it sounds as though Baddiel is on very shaky ground when he starts discussing the Daily Stormer stuff and the fact that a lot of this guy's videos had been on there... almost as though he'd started defending him, and then realised it was a bad idea (perhaps when "Tommy Robinson" and other far-right arseholes joined in) but thought he'd plough on anyway.
