London "clogged up" by "vanity" cycle lanes, rages Sir Bob Geldof

Sir Bob Geldof yesterday launched an attack on Boris Johnson by complaining about London's Cycle Superhighways. "[Johnson] clogged up the streets of London by building this ludicrous vanity bicycle project," raged the former Boomtown Rat, adding that the new cycleways are "ridiculous".

Reports/witnesses are saying the attacker shouted 'Britain first!'

There are a lot of witness reports that make absolutely no mention of that. Not that I don't think it's possible but it doesn't seem reasonably corroborated first.

Graeme Howard, 38, who lives in nearby Bond Street, told the Guardian he heard the man shout “Britain First” before the shooting and during the arrest.

Police were understood to be talking to at least one witness who claimed to have heard the attacker shout words about the right-wing group, and the motivation for the incident will form part of their inquiry

It's been claimed by someone credited as an eyewitness. Although no other corroborating witnesses does call it into suspicion.

We'll find out soon enough. Other witness is saying that the suspect was shouting Britain First when arrested. The police will mention it in their statement if true I think.
