Dutch swearing is quite interesting, when i lived in Amsterdam, they seemed to wish illness on people as a way of swearing/insulting them, "Typhus mahol" and worse (poor spelling) , almost Shakespearean "a pox on you", kutje is one i kind of know

It isn't only that this took place quite close to where I grew up but the way in which he seems to have stumbled into this dangerous situation, was killed from utterly base motives, and the way that the obvious cover-up (which I've never believed held any water) was initially given judicial credence that I find very unsettling. I still hope that Jeremiah Duggan's murderer(s) will one day be brought to justice. This inquest may be a small step in that direction and I hope that it will influence re-opened proceedings in Germany, although I don't know if that is possible.
