Rob Ford only has a year left before the next election for his post.

I think they'd be better off letting him do his job for the remainder of the term than trying to force him out. They might find he performs better when he's not trying to hide stories.

...assuming he doesn't have an ongoing problem with drug or drink addiction. That would probably get in the way of his day job and could impact on his ability to make appropriate budgetary decisions.
