A less sweeping and reactionary exclamation would have been "Jesus. What the fuck happened to integrity in journalism?" Or did it ever really exist? And if so, when did we become conscious? Or are we just all lazy, job-stealing, immigrant, single-mother, tree-hugging cyclists?

I went to J-school in the States and while I cringe at a lot of media there much of it here just turns my stomach. Whatever happened to accuracy and leaving editorialising on the editorial pages?

Not trying to get into an us v them argument, just general despair at the state of journalism. It used to mean something. It used to be respected and trusted. It used to be accurate and not simply trying to advance an agenda or flog newsprint.

The action of that driver is fucking horrible, a prime example of how incredibly easy a vehicle can be made into a lethal weapon that probably kill more than a gun.
