  • That's put a bit of a downer on my Saturday.

sorry Tom she needs telling though, blame my addiction to reading..

  • Ha, just sent her a right arsey email

  • well done.
more i read it more it seems so unneccesary.
the tone is just so disconnected and otherworldy for someone who should have more of a clue

  • I imagine if one of her relatives was knocked down as a pedestrian, I doubt she'd be saying 'oh well that's physics lol, accidents will happen!'

I think these people just write these things to provoke reaction. Expect better from that paper tbh

  • Yep, it's deliberately antagonistic and attention-seeking. Kind of pathetic really. Using the current hot topic of cycling safety that The Times has instigated and trying to get more attention by violently saying the complete opposite.

  • popworld women files for bankruptcy

She's a cunt, met her once

She also used to stalk a girl I worked with and she had to call the OB. Girl at work went out with her ex boyfriend and she went fruitloop

Massive coke'ead and massive hosemonster too

She came across alright on the telly, very surprised to hear that she is the same age as me though. She seems old, world weary. Must be all the drugs.

The bird they got to replace her was much more annoying, like she was trying really hard to be like her. She also had "im so sexy syndrome"

  • Gordon Brown earns £1.4m since leaving Number 10; he's channelled it all back into charity

I never realised Gordon was such a good chap, he was terrible at presenting himself.

  • . She seems old, world weary.

started doing popworld at 16 iirc

  • started doing popworld at 16 iirc

She mustve already been a crack whore at that age I guess, she acted more like someone pushing 30.

  • You're confusing nonchalance with jadedness.

One is I'm too cool for you, inspite of having no life experience and nothing to say [however I still wake up every morning thinking only good will happen], the other is an afirmation of what a pile of shite life really is

  • It takes a special individual to punch a hole through the bullshit:

Just a little hole. They're just doing thier job after all.

You might want to explain that people who took big risks did sometimes get killed, and when they did, it was very, very sad for their families. But what was sad for a family didn't always have all that much to do with anyone else.

How lazy and presumptuous to think that if you die cycling you were probably taking a *big risk *

    It get's worse:

    My big Desert Island romance

Yesterday, while I was washing up, I fell in love. It wasn't quite the coup de foudre; more the slow burn. But by the end of Desert Island Discs, I could have sung it from the rooftops. I'm in love with James Corden. He's funny. Of course he's funny. He's had millions of viewers laughing like a drain. But what made me fall for him wasn't his massive comic talent, but his honesty. When he was asked about fame, for example, he said, "I rather like it." When he was asked about the media backlash against him, he said, "I deserved a little bit of a smack." And when he was asked about parties, he said, "I was only ever going out to find someone to stay in with." In the end, he found her. Lucky girl.

What a moronic pointless article. Some people are just beyond help.

  • I didn't realise we had such a problem with nuisance memorials to dead people in this country. How could I have been so blind? It is very important that dead people be taught a lesson, and that those of us that gravity has pardoned spread the word..

    and the comments are grim

    Sounds about right.

Just ignore her patter, son. As Scoot says, it's just designed to get attention, nothing more, nothing less. Recipe: Choose mildly controversial topic, vent about it, include a good dash of stupidity and intolerance, sell more newspapers. Unless it's something as crass as wishing death on people like Matthew Parris' notorious column, it won't have much of a shelf life and your reputation will probably not suffer lasting damage. Rinse, repeat.
