Scary
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/greenhouse/post/2010/10/wwf-second-earth-needed/1
I think scary is kind of the point.
"If we keep on using up at rate, we'll need another in period of time"
"We only have amount of "
"Oh, then we're going to run out then, aren't we?"I think as the current earth starts to run out, prices of everything will increase and those who cannot afford to live will die.
Self-correcting problem, in a way.
There's always the chance that folk'll come up with a better way of doing it, but the above seems the most likely to me.
Then again, maybe fusion will work in my lifetime and I'll finally get that affordable flying car.
Worth a watch and read. Explains the misunderstandings of supply and demand and growth in a very simple manor.

In other news, the Insane Clown Posse have just revealed that their violent, misogynistic rap act was a ruse to attract the most troubled of fans so they could introduce them to their true evangelical Christian beliefs. I shit you not.

Oh, Balki. That's old news.
Of course I do subscribe to the Juggalo Gazette-Journal.

Is that for real?
-
• #1366
No, my subscription ran out. I do miss Bitch Killa's editorials and insight into the global economy though.

So... New social housing tenants pay 80% of market rate in rent while the Government caps their housing benefit, forcing the poorest into ghettos on the fringes of our cities. Brought to you by a Chancellor who will avoid £1.6 million in inheritance tax when he gains £4 million from his trust fund by using a wealth management scheme, and says "those with the most should pay the most". What a massive hypocrite.
Alan Johnson currently doing a good job of pointing out Osbourne's shortcomings, including pointing out that the Tories never called for reduced spending or stronger banking regulation before the economic crisis began in 2007 - in fact they called for banking deregulation and for the Government to spend more!

yeah but they are going to widen the A35 into Norwich so its not all bad.

Ha, yes, while removing the cap on regulated train tickets from 2012. So train travel will become more expensive, while motoring, well, doesn't really. But then what should we expect from a Transport Secretary who enjoys driving down country lanes in his Jaguar..?

Its quite disgusting really isn't it. Like living in America. And Lib Dems will agree to it too.

Lib Dems are the biggest sell outs in politics. Surely they've signed their own death warrant by agreeing to this so called "coalition".

I feel a bit sorry for them really (the party, not the supporters). This could easily be their undoing.
It's just me showing my Kraft again.
