Saw some amateur footage on 'tube before youtube sensored the soundtrack on them. Brutal.
Coincidence, but was reading last night on comments of 'tube video (about vintage planes) that it was only a matter of time before another serious accident with vintage planes in a show happened, I don't think the person who wrote that had any idea that it would happen just a few hours later. Thoughts out to the families affected.

I happened to be passing through Reno this time last year and went to the airshow, a pilot crashed then too but he guided the plane away from the stands and towards the mountains, bad times.

No guarantee where they'll pop up from. Old neighbours of mine were both dark haired, both their sons came out day-glo. They were the shame of the street. House prices suffered. Teeth were gnashed.
My ex-girlfriend was/still is, presumably, ginger. I've done more for ginger haired people than most.

Unnecessary, James. Could cause offence. Perhaps best to moderate your response.

Yeah, but they can't afford to be fussy, can they?

Ah Tester, sneaky re-edit I see. Darn, that's clever.

I have not read this. I did read somebody elses suggestion that the Mustang was still flyable as the skyraider that clipped it did not damage the flight controls. Hindsight + internet opinion < time to eject?

*Without *going off on an anti-US/Israeli tangent can someone explain the argument behind the US's opposition to a Palestinian state?
Is it simply a case of defining borders? Or is it because it's seen as a high pressure tactic that's pissing Israel off?
"Peace can only be achieved around the negotiating table. The Palestinian attempt to impose a settlement will not bring peace,"
I'm just at a bit of a loss as to why they're vetoing it.
Cheers.

What Israel is currently doing to/in Palastine could be defined differently if Palastine was a state recognized by the UN with access to the ICC. It would also make the Israel argument that the '67 borders are not an option much more difficult (even though the UN has already said those are the borders and demanded Israel withdraw to them).
Basically it would make life more difficult for Israel.
There's probably more to it.

Ok. Cheers for that. Along the lines of what I thought, I just wondered if there was any more to the counter agreements.
Basically, pressure on Israel = pressure on US = US pressure in UN

There's not a great deal more to it as far as I can see, Horatio.
All the illegal Israeli settlements built on land acquired through war (inadmissible according to the UN) could very reasonably be demanded back by Palestine.
God, it makes me so angry how poorly these things are reported in the UK and US media. As ever, Al's Jazz Era comes to the rescue.
