• We got inspired by this thread (among others) and found some nice double clips we are able to sell for a fair price.

Sorry - I didn't realize that this could clash with advertising-rules inhere. If the post is a problem then please remove it :-)

  • those plastic ones are known to get brittle and break. i also don't particularly like the way they look.

but yes, the sound of clips scraping on pavement is one of the worst sounds on earth. learn to clip in sooner, or get shorter crank arms! heh heh.

I found that metal ones tend to break easier, I accidently stepped on one and it snapped and friends have broken theres pretty easy. I do agree though they do look better than the plastic ones.

  • How can you accidentally stepped on a clip?

  • Maybe spinning it too far round while trying to get his foot in?

  • foot slipped whilst spinning it around so the pedel went to far and putting my weight on the clip.

I really like metal cages but I just think for city riding they arent as durable as plastic.

  • anyone know if 14/blb/anywhere else are selling plastic cages for double straps still?
