Dunno; not been there yet. Jacqui had one made for them (at some expense) but know nothing more. Anyone? Jos?

You must get there. It is a beautiful place.

So Might Not be There Any Longer -

Might get down there Wednesday if they are open. But looking at stuff I can't afford is a masochistic pastime.

Isn't one up in Tour De Ville? I may have to pop down to peruse some fine bicycles as well as the poster..

Hey wiganwill, I know a really, really cheap place to get lambda digital prints done (digital process printed on photographic paper). They will do quantity discounts as well, PM me if you want details.
-
• #66
ODB; You don't seem to have PM access yet but I'd be very interested to know about this place. I think you need one more post to get access to PMs.

'Really?'

Try PM'ing me now!

Will I don't know - not paying attention - where we are on this but I'll be number 32 on account of the quality of the photography.
Is there any progress on printing this?
Anyway, as I have said before, hats off. Nice work.

Yeah !
The people want their posters, I can feel a groundswell of anger.
I have a couple more folk to put on the list of buyers as well.

I have aged considerably since my photo was taken.
But sadly not got any thinner.

Clive, I've known some other people in their 40s and 50s who didn't like their weight when they got into cycling, and their experience was that it took them a while to achieve meaningful weight loss--but when it started to happen, it happened at quite a fast rate and they were subsequently able to maintain it through regular riding. (And these were just commuters and didn't do anything like the long, hard rides that you do.)
Now, everybody is different and I don't know much about physiology, but perhaps you still need to keep building up your power until you can really start reducing your weight. That's what my acquaintances felt--that their 'proper' level of fitness took a few years to arrive, and when it did, they also felt that they could maintain their lower weight quite easily. Smiles all round.
Also, I don't think cycling is likely to be the whole answer. Did you see the weight loss thing in the comic over Christmas? They got four people to use nutritionist advice to reduce weight and it led to weight losses of up to a stone over eight weeks. Just don't lose patience, I'm sure you'll get there!

two weeks. I think.

Oliver, you are kind and encouraging. I am fat because I eat too much and am a compulsive personality bordering on addictive. This is why cycling suits me but also means that the psychological issues involved in weight loss are my greatest problem. 19 years ago I stopped smoking and drinking and got very very fat. Ten years ago I lost around 5 stone in six months through diet and exercise. It gradually crept back but not all of it. I then started cycling two years ago, lost weight initially very quickly and am now three stone below what I was. I need to gradually drop two and keep them off. These two stone seem to like me very much. We are very attached.

Did you say that there was a copy in Tour de la Ville? I went there and then completely forgot to look for it.
