  • yah i think that was it actually, wasn't you was it?

  • no it wasn't me, i think it was Valentine, friend of mine

  • Valentine?

  • Yup, that was me

  • My old frame?

  • The one that was traded for a cup of coffee at small batch to a very nice gentleman wearing glasses. If you are him, than yes, it is your frame indeed. Very soon enough it will be fixed too-got the hub today so its time to build that rear wheel!

  • Outside the Coopers last night.

  • Is that not locked up?!

    Also, saddle derp

  • The chap it belonged to was just inside the door so it was safe.

Yeah I wasn't sure what the deal with the saddle was either - answers on a postcard.

  • Tiny bike is tiny

  • saddle derp: probably a try-athlete. They normally have no clue.

  • ^ like.

  • Bargain...

  • this one?

Saw this motoring along the basin road, I was knackered after hill repeats but still gave a wee nod.

    Wapha Wising?

  • Wapha Wising?

    oh yeah...

  • Is that blue? Guy with a beard? Saw on the beach last weekend I believe...B&W pic I 'm referring to

  • Yea if it's the same bike I think it is, the owner does have a top quality beard

  • Saw a guy over the weekend sitting on the seafront in one of the upturned boats with a nice fixed. Not sure the frame and was in a rush, nice though!

  • Was in Brighton a few days ago with another mate who rides and we only saw one other person riding fixed for the entire time :(

But it's such a good place for cycling?

  • Yup, but with the all hills and shitty roads its way easier to ride gears or single speed. Or better still get on a mountain bike and get hella out the city and into the hills and woods!

  • As far as I'm concerned riding fixed in Brighton makes no sense at all. It limits you so much.
There are however plenty of riders who clearly disagree. And there's a big Polo scene down here too.

  • I think it's brilliant for it, especially if you have a nice gear ratio, yeah the hills are effort and sometimes dangerous but you can fixieskidda down them :)

  • Hahaha, you'd need a monthly tyre budget allocated if you lived here in that case ;)
