Hasn't gotten any better in the second half.

Ah as a Bok fan at Twickers it was a highly enjoyable game. The atmosphere petered out after the 3rd try but SA were so dominant 35-7 flatters NZ.
Only problem is SA will be everyone's favourites now and they're much better when underestimated and written off. Scotland first up is a huge game.

And the RFU were moaning this morning that not enough people bought tickets…

Samoa good value for their lead. What a scrum at the end!

We were coming in to land at Heathrow just as England were disappointing a nation of rugby fans once again.

Watched the Ireland Samoa game on catch up, disparately avoiding my phone the whole time. While I never want to see Samoa spanked (I'd cheer for them over any other team), I was not having a fun time as an Irishman. Tom Steward shat the bed on multiple occasions (hard to admit as an Ulsterman also, just glad the one that righted the ship was from the same province). Mack Hansen was visibly frustrated. Stockdale looked good in comparison, but still not a world class wing, yet. I think he could be again. I think just generally Ireland thought they were going to walk it, were caught off guard and never really recovered.

Danty out for the French would be a massive loss. He's been as important as Dupont for them.

England in even more bother...
Lawes is a doubt for Sat - with Curry, Daly, Arundel, Sinckler, Martin also struggling to prove fitness (Chessum supposedly can't play a full 80 either after his injury rehab, according to those in the know?). Farrell and Vunipola banned. Have they got a matchday 23???
Going to get that tenner on England, Wales and Scotland going out at group stage.
Hoping Friday night is a cracking game, as it promises so much.
Oh, and a quick nod to t'other code. Leigh Leopards - what a season!

^ Generous to England there. Home bias and soft draw I suppose, but I would put their chance of winning at 0.0%.
