  • As long as you work hard you'll be fine.

Work back to offer yourself after making a pass & miss as few tackles as possible and you'll be fine.

Oh and if in doubt, pass it to the quickest player on your team and shout "back yourself."

  • All of your problems can be overcome with one word.......... BOSH! if you can reliably beat other players in contact and offload then you will draw enough players to cause havoc.

Thats the plan, opposition allowing, and if I do attack the line. I have decent runners either side of me, and a super low center of gravity, so it makes sense.

I have promised not to do this though.

Boring hard graft is my game TBH.

I'm hooking with a fast'n'solid prop on my outside, and our technically sharp coach on my inside. So things will be straight forward in offensive play. For me at least. I'm a defensive forward at heart, but the space availible in 7s makes tackling tricky for me.

The way we are set up. I should have a fun day.

  • What a finish.
Thought Easter had thrown the game away at the end there, but excellent defence otherwise won that match.

  • Sarries v Quins no doubt?

Missed the first half but heard the 2nd. Sounds like Quins defence meant they deserved it and Sarries didn't really switch on til the last 15.

  • Only caught the first try (amazing). Looked like a great event.

    1. Quins
    2. Sarries
    3. Leicester
    4. Exeter

That's how it stands, Saints playing right now for 4th.

    Exeter premiership champions? Imagine that.

  • Saints are only a point behind with a game in hand though right?

I'd love to see the Chiefs in a final at least

  • Are there any players at Northampton who haven't been banned?

  • Hmm, doesn't look very good does it? Hartley is a fucking idiot especially after his eye-gouging ban and his potential for the england captaincy. Clark? Well, it was Leicester.

Seriously though, it's a disgrace. Saints now have a reputation as a dirty team and that sucks.

As a life long chiefs fan, so would I....

  • Unsurprisingly Gavin Henson has now been sacked by Cardiff. I would imagine that he is now completely unemployable as a professional.

  • Except at Northampton...

  • Ha!

  • MacGeechan confirms he is leaving Bath at the end of the season. Please god don't let him near the Scotland team I don't think I could handle it if we got worse.

  • He got you chaps a grand slam when coaching you last didn't he?

Other than doing a half decent job with the tourists, I'll admit that he hasn't done much since but you could do a lot worse..

  • He is unfortunately past it. My heart is in my mouth watching Edinburgh we may actually make the semis!

  • Come on Laidlaw, keep yer head.

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! Fuckin' dancer!

  • Great news.. Edinburgh now have a good trip to the Aviva to look forward to.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow and Sarries.

  • Yeah the semi will be tough but we just knocked out the most successful club in the tournament's history (cannot quite believe that I am saying that) and if we play like we did today could beat anyone. I am currently looking to book my tickets for Dublin!

  • Mind you saying that^ we are second from bottom in the pro 12 :( and the only team below them is in all likely hood going bust, so anything could happen. Hopefully this will motivate Glasgow to get to the knock out stages of that competition so that even if our national team is doing as badly as it currently is Scottish Rugby fans will have something to be proud of.

  • 50% of Scottish teams are in the semi-finals, that's something to be proud of.. 50% of Irish teams are going to be in the semis too.

Forget the fact that those are percentages of 1 and 4 respectively and things look good :P

  • 2 and 4 rather..

  • I knew what you meant.

  • It's all turned out cushty for the Irish sides - most likely to be an all-Irish final, but well done E'burgh.
