Well.. Just over halfway into the game and it looks as if England have won comfortablyI must say though it seems to be equal measures of France not trying as it is England actually clicking at the moment

france are playing like a bunch of retards. they're dropping everything and defending like traffic cones.

So much fun, but when we had a team from the TCD we were destroyed, so don't know if i'd continue it if I get into Trinity.
Hurling?? TCD?? You coming over this way for college then?? I live two minutes down the road from TCD and the missus is studying there!

as a welshman i don't mind losing to ireland....but losing the game and then getting 4th place behind an utterly abysma english team cuts deep.......

Yeah... wouldn't fancy that... GRAND SLAM!!!!
( I think we're allowed gloat, it's long overdue)

• #111
meh....as long as england didn't win, i have no care....anyway the irish team was due a championship before those guys all retired.....
-
• #112
Lol, fair point!! It was a good match too, better than Ireland-England anyways!! Though that wasn't too hard...

Brilliant stuff all around today.. Three great games and a grand slam is just the icing on the cake for me. Such a tense game but really enjoyable. I think in the end Ireland deserved to win this game and hopefully it just shows what this team can really do.. With a few good years under Kidney and a couple of new faces edging their way into the team we'll be a force to be reckoned with come the next world cup.

Anyone watching the Lions - fingers crossed for a better showing than at the weekend, and BOD hitting top gear

Just watched it down t'pub.. Definitely a much better performance and bar a couple of changes (personally wouldn't have Vickery or Stephen Jones) it was a much stronger team anyway..
Good stuff. I think Bowe has already got one hand on a test shirt and Roberts did pretty well too.

Yeah great performances all round - much more like it!

Right. Johnny's back. Here we go.
Should be interesting the next few weeks, but this is the best chance of a win.

Missed the England match as I played two games in a row myself (and got three tries I might add) but am about to watch the highlights..
As for Wales v NZ the result was pretty much deserved and could easily have been more judging by the second half.. Well done ABs!

I was at Twickenham on Sat for the Argentina game, worst match I've ever seen

Who you supporting Pist? Whos we?
Wow, tense game but the 2nd half made me happy.. According to the post-match garble that was the first Ireland win from a half-time deficit in 9 years and such stats could bode well for a turning point in Ireland's underachiever tag.. I am quietly confident that we'll get the final W but Wales coming so close to losing is probably the worst scenario going into next weekend's game.
As for England, I don't think they'll do much tomorrow.. Lievremont seems to have settled his squad a lot more and has bolstered it with experienced heads but as ever England have a point to prove so I may well be surprised..
Can't wait for next weekend, it will be an exciting one
