  • Yeah I'm on board for late Dec. early Jan if that's any help?

  • maybe you could get him to do this;

  • Earlier the better i guess... So shall i just ask him to make 4 46cm BMW gangsta tracks? Sounds dodgy, but if everyone sends the money to me then i'll send him the money so he doesn't get money confused..?

Lots of people met me at trix so they know i'm a real person at least. Can do it seperately though if need be.

Only concern with the BMW is the rear end looks fairly long...

sounds like a good idea. If you look at the wheel clearance on the back its pretty tight, and the seatube angle gets the seat fairly back over the wheel. I think its pretty perfect.

  • Hmm i spose, would be more stable than a tracky horizontal angle bike i guess..

So who's getting a 54cm BMW gangsta track?

And who's gonna be gay and get their own geo?

  • Hehe.

  • Looks good to me, 6 weeks is the absolute longest though, I may have the cash in the next 2 weeks. I'm still waiting for my Sept. student loan to come through, let you know as soon as it comes through.

  • Oh yeah 54cm for me. I haven't the skills or knowledge to create my own geo ;)

  • 54cm BMW Gangsta track geo.

    1)Fat Pants
    2)Festerban
    3)Rosmal?

  • Wait im 6"3, will a 54cm frame suffice for me,
never had a trix frame so i wouldn't really know.

  • Oh and i have no idea, i couldn't 100% guarantee any money till after Christmas

  • oh and remember, big fucking tyres!

  • Hmm, Rosmal, i don't think it'd be all that bad if you couldn't get one till after xmas and got one by yourself... It's not all that bad on postage, just nicer if it's with other people... As i expect people will wanna get em by xmasish time...

How many inches eyebrows? Remember, means things have to be wider and you might have to run a wider bb or something, then have a shit chainline... Think it'd be best if it was kept fairly small... Unless you're just after like 1.5s?

  • I cant say yes at this time,
so i hope this guy will still be available after Christmas where i can definitely get one.

And would 700x35c's be big enough

  • 1.5s will do- i guess.
going to be a bit of a cross breed if i have my way.....

  • If by mid Dec. my money hasn't come through Rosmal then I might as well wait and go halves with you.

  • He'll be around, don't worry. Right, i dunno what he'll need to do to make it fit 1.5s. Is it a big problem if it doesn't take em? Another thing, bigger tyres make the wheel circumference bigger so it might rub on the frame, just run 28s :P

  • I could get the same base geo frame as you, but the big tyres are the main thing for me.
And then get it sent with yours- keeping the costs down?
essentially boost my frame out to 130mm rear, with capabilities of big big tyres.

  • Hehehe, I think eyebrow's may need a one off version of his own!

  • yup, its looking like it.
but if its posted at the same time, it will still help the cause.

    this is without forks right?

  • Hmm, 130 spacing and slightly wider chainstays shouldn't be too much of a problem i spose...

Yeah, forkless. I take it we all want 1/1/8 headtubes? I'm gonna run a 26" trials fork on mine with a disc mount, cable through the steerer, barspinnable and safe!

  • yes 1 1/8
doing the same as you on the front- if i can find one cheaply enough.
    definitely keen.

  • I could probably find you one on the trials forum, i'll just get an email for you and you can talk to em yourself...

  • so where do we go from here?

  • So 3 46cm gangsta tracks, one with slightly wider tyre clearance if poss and 130mm spacing. The rest with 120mm spacing? Obviously horizontal dropouts. 1 1/8th headsets throughout?

I'll wait for 2 more yesses.
