seems my wireless router doesn't like the express... 5 minutes my arse, hah!

Oh you're kidding?!? Worked fine with my netgear jobbie... why doesn't it work, not that I would be of any technical use! ha

The extreme doesnt have airtunes so you would still need the express if you were thinking of swapping out your router, I never used the exteme, I bought it with mw imac :)

Oh and i'm on virgin media's broadband if that helps ???

Would have thought it would work with any router to be honest....

yeah it works great, somehow i managed to skip the auto setup and went straight into manual, tried doing all sorts of things to get it to work, none of which did. so reset it and it went into auto setup and all is now gravy. thanks again.

and i found a brilliant program (airfoil) that allows any program or my entire computers audio to be run through the express (dvd player, vlc, games, etc) and not just itunes. perfect.
