oh yah? cool.

also, quite a few of the guys want to play london teams and were thinking about a trip over here sometime. but definitely want to see us at the worlds in philadelphia
-

So you think they're still really better? I agree that Doug, Paul, Chombo, Adam and Zack are more accurate in their shots and technical in their dribbles, but not necessarily faster than the best guys in London. And the others (Chris, Johnny, Ken, Dave, Corey etc...) are roughly at our level, no?

doug, paul, adam, jonny and little zack especially, are very very good. supremely quick, but can take hits and score at the same time, repeatedly. you're right in that we're similar to the others. but those guys are at the next level and i respect that. we're not too far off and can match that, but need to play bigger courts, faster and harder.
but if our best team (BAD/Malice etc) played theirs (Zack, Paul, Doug), i think we'd get beaten.

• #31
how much bigger are their courts than mitch?
-
• #32
fraction longer and a bit wider. but thats all the play on mostly, otherwise a ice hockey rink

Cones to cones Mitch and The Pit are roughly the same length. The Pit has more space behind the cones and is a little wider.

man, i was fucked after playing 5 hrs on sunday, awesome fun though. they play different lines and don't do much off the ball stuff to help team mates. i caught a few out just going down the caught screening my team mates.

really? The pit seems much longer. The opposite players are really far in the distance before the charge

because we've played a lot on small courts, we're used to getting in the way of others, just little things, to slow them down. but playing on a big court there is less opportunity for that.

In New York they...
...charge from within their goal, not at the 'D' line a meter in front of the goal. That puts the players 2-ish meters further apart. -

true, saying that i got to the ball as fast as them on the charges and won a few. that or i was going on 1.
