Yes, many times. I had a lot to do with the organisation he set up, and they were a hopeless bunch (they shut down recently, they were that hopeless). In many ways, it wasn't his fault, he got thrust into the limelight, people used to stop him in the street, he was the housewives favourite - essentially a squaddie who was suddenly a celebrity. But still a prat.

Sounding like a dick is fine, being one is the problem. I just find this kind of thread really dispiriting.

There is an undercurrent of misogyny on this forum from a small minority. Many of the reactions to the female courier who was rude to someone were a good example. The Essex girls thread was another. For me it's the most dismal aspect of the forum but I do think most members are not part of it.

As I say Vee it's not the whole forum but yes it has been depressing at times.

It is not the whole forum of course and people get carried away posting stuff.

Forum has been quiet and some threads have gone down a tone, but most of the comments have not been vitriolic, at worst derogatory or delivered in the key of Viz (puke on my cock etc)

This one just highlights how it happens on other forums (and to a worst extent) but you got to admit she looks like Jim Henson made her?!

It is the language employed in most of the threads that is the issue.

It's fair game on here at the moment - deal with it or don't read it, simple. People moaning about the harsh treatment just adds fuel to the fire. Take the piss out of me all day long if you like, just expect it back! :-)
