Anyone used the rock n roll gold? Is it worth the $$ or should I just get extreme instead

Green oil ftw.

I bought some Rock and Roll extreme and Im not that impressed with the results. Reading the side of the bottle is also more than a bit worrying, fatal if ingested... Im not going to eat it but I've got two cats who drink puddles in the garden. A few drips of the chain lube onto the ground when Im oiling my bike, it rains and get washed into a puddle and no more cats. So everytime I want to lube my chain Im out in the street, then have to make sure it doesn't drip when I bring the bike back through the flat for fear that I might kill something. I think Im going to switch to something less toxic. That Green oil looks like a winner.

Given up on the White Lightning Clean; went out Saturday morning for a longish ride and topped up the lube before leaving but after about 3 hours riding in dry weather I was grinding metal in an alarming way.
Ducked into Evans and grabbed some Finishline Pro Road ceramic and it's a bit of a revelation. Utter silence.
Resurrect !
Given up on White Lightning (and other wax lubes) for precisely the same reason above. Will probably switch back to a Teflon based dry lube again, they're all pretty much the same across the brands, right ?

Get this stuff, it's easily the best lube I've ever used;

Having gone through a fair list of lubes (being a lazy fucker I oil chains rather than cleaning them) I've settled on Finish Line ceramic or White Lightning Epic Ride. They're more or less interchangeably ace.

Had a look for that last night, nowhere had it, and thought I'd try Finish Line Dry instead. Look suspiciously like another wax based lube...

I've heard 'Road CR Finish Line Pro Road Cermaically Reinforced Patented Lubricant Racing - Tours - Triathlons' is quite good.

I use a combination of puddles and soil

I'm always tempted to buy rock'n roll gold since I hate cleaning chains and I'm allways a bit late when it comes to lubing the drivetrain... But it seems to be quite toxic and expensive and there are a million other lubes out there... Never has a 5-10quid investment been so confusing!

I generally use motor oil because ive got some lying around and at a cap full a time it seems to last for ever but i herd some of the pros use a lighter oil then a thicker oil to seal it in.
do any of you guys use a combination of lubes with different viscosities?
