  • Cannot unsee that tiny crankset!

I loved the idea of the Picklefucker, big fat clearance and a whole lots of fun.

If brakes feel very spongy, replace housing with compressionless one.

  • Shoulda got a Straggler ;-) Nice though, on paper it's very good value for money.

  • I reckon that looks lush

  • Received a Planet X catalogue in the post yesterday, bigging up their winter clothing range. In March.

And a load of in-store events. That happened in February.

Cover photo is out of focus and very low res but features a bike in an interesting looking paint job, and rider wearing Planet X cycling shoes. Neither of which feature anywhere in the catalogue.

    Marketing geniuses.

  • ^ha yes they're crap. I asked them about their winter clothing range in sep last year and was told it would be available in oct - they had nothing all winter. It might mean some a bargain sale or more likely they'll hold on to it till next winter.

  • They're cheap, not slick or organised.

Alloy 'cross frames are cheap at the moment.

  • They'd be even cheaper if they weren't spunking cash on useless mailshots.

  • ha yeah I got one of those last week, glimpsed through it and thought, shiiii I thought on-one did some decent stuff... where did it go? Also its now spring or have I missed something?

Looks interesting for a commuter, winter trainer. What say you forum?

  • Looks tidy.

  • Something like that but with Di2 would be kinda what I'd like to replace the Kinesis with.
Steel or Alu, fat clearances, Di2, hydro brakes (no cables).
Maybe a disc fork only? Thru axle front but not rear so I can continue running Powertap? That would require a single cable unless I used something like Magura hydro rim brakes which seems a faff. Prefer dual disc but then I guess I'd need to get PT disc unless I went for crank power in which case £££. Hmmm

  • I can't find anything about tyre spacings and it doesn't appear to have any mudguard mounts. Looks pretty good though.

  • I think that's the first time I've seen something full price on their site.

  • ^^ Now that's a deal!

  • Anyone with a 24" Baby Fatty? I wanna know the a2c of the forks but whoever answers the emails at On One is fucking clueless.

  • Just purchased a PX Pro Carbon Road frame & forks in their sale for £299. 00. Seems too good to be true. Seems really well made and super light. Going to swap over the 5700 groupset from my Trek. Just need a nice 31.6 seatpost now.

  • Bought a kaffenback for £600 the other day.

  • Yer.

  • Bought a N2A Frameset earlier for £360. Sale/payday madness.

  • Hey guys, does any of you have experience with their clothing? I'm planing to buy the 365 pro fit jersey and bib shorts, some base layer and etc. thought maybe I could hear some opinions before doing so.

    Thanks
