That is a four minute teaser for a New York City movie called 'Empire', Snoop Dog.

Macaframa is about an hour and not about NYC. Nor is it called Empire.

My i the only person who finds these incredibly long films about fixed riding, spinning and tricks boring? It's really a case of seen one minute seen 'em all.

I can't do a wheelie but I'd rather go practice then to spend more then a hour sitting down watching someone else doing tricks, it doesn't make for good cinema.

The skateboard videos where people get hurt are by far more interesting to watch, i propose a boycott on all this spiny nonsense & wait until people start taping some good spills.

most of the riders makes high-speed riding look comical--it's like watching old-timey baseball footage. Secondly, while I'm not particularly impressed by most fixed-gear trick riding, I'm completely sick of those goofy elephant trunk leg-over-the-bar skids, and this movie has them in abundance. BSNYC

at the sf premiere a friend and i kept making jokes about macadamia: nuts on the stem.

i enjoyed it, but i am biased as i know a large portion of the riders in there. I have worked on several of their bikes, and ridden, raced, and gotten sloppy drunk with them. the cinematography was nice though over exposed/saturated. the music was a nice change of pace, and it felt like a very nice snapshot of my hometown.
