  • I also got these. They got deleted before I read them (thanks).

They don't appear in my PM inbox but there is still a notification saying they're there...any chance this could be fixed?

  • Sent you a DM

  • Fixed, thank you

  • Great, I fixed it for everyone then.

  • How were the 207 selected?

    Most handsome prolific posters?

  • Likely the People page, a human did this manually (determined by timing), and the People page default orders by top posters.

  • Right gotcha.

So I am one of the most good looking people on here then..confirmed. ta.

  • Lucky you. I'm way down on page 11 of good lookingness.

  • Come back when you're on page 1 with the big boys, noob

  • I think we were all in tranche 2 of prolific posters
    tranche 1 was below

  • Am usually extreme careful with giving out my email address.

Recently signed up for an umbrella company for a particular project. (Giant, as they were the only one on a particular approved list at both an agency and an end client). Used my email address. Almost immediately I start getting malicious emails to it with my Giant username in the title. Have had literally hundreds in the past couple of days.

    Any recourse?

Any options to stop it? Mail comes from different addresses each time so even if I'm blocking and reporting all, they just keep coming.

I was waiting for a parcel and the first email was from 'parcelforce' or thereabouts so I opened it which clearly triggered a 'this clown opens emails' alert with them so they've doubled down on sending them.

Obviously didn't click links (though the one I opened had a large hyperlinked image appearing to show a parcel tracking thing).

Set up a filter to black hole anything to that address.

  • Sounds like they used their main address.

  • Who is this guy? Seems spammy.

  • Interesting phish today. Trying to look like they’d hacked my iCloud address by sending from the same prefix but from @mac.com instead. Fooled me for half a second.

    Loved the opener:

Hello pervert, I've sent this message from your iCloud mаil.

I’m going to use that opener in all my future correspondence.

    Later on:

I strongly warn you against the following:

    • Do not reply to this email. I've sent it from your iCloud mail.

    lol.

  • This is definitely the best but of spam I've ever received. The Supreme Court no less are prosecuting me for an unpaid parking ticket

  • Had a few pretty convincing PayPal phishing emails lately. Convincing email address (service@paypal.com) and convincing email layout. Weird request for money and didn’t use my name. Forwarded to PayPal phishing email address but it bounced.
