  • Vince what's you budget?

  • Are you selling the Canyon?

Around £350 but could put more in if something fancy came up.

Might just get a Dolan Track Champion as a stop gap - there is one on eBay finishing tonight and it's cheap.

  • Dot Com for sale? Ha!

Will keep an eye out for you if I see anything you might like! In the mean time just use the look for the track! =)

    The Look is long gone.

I'll use the pink triple triangle Mielec on Saturday...

  • I used to really like my old Look 464, I should have kept that one for track duties

So buy a Look 464 for track duties. Problem solved.

  • Went for a Dolan Seta this time.
    Will see how this goes.

The frame alone is so much lighter than the Planet X which was circa 1.9kg!

  • Good job mate, the seta is a great frame, what fork did you go for?

  • weight doesn't really matter on the track

  • I'm going to use my Look 464 forks on it at the moment

  • There's that steep banking I often struggle to get up though

  • 800g of frame flex :)

  • 800g of frame flex :)

    800g of less aero.

    800g of less aero.

    Repped'

I'll be at HH on Thursday so i'll see about that flex/aero business.

  • Seta ready for HH.

I just need to stop going out on Friday so I can actually attend on Saturday morning...

  • Oooh. Light.

They don't seem to make that any longer.

Does anyone know if the pre-cursa or track champ weigh similar?

The Dolan site says 1780g but doesn't make it clear if that includes fork, seatpost etc

  • My friends 56cm pre cursa is 1.8 something kg for just the frame, my 58cm seta is just shy of 1kg on the same scales.

  • Is the Seta crabon?

  • Yup UD carbon so you won't see a weave.

  • I wonder why they don't make it any longer.

Unless I'm being thick, frame options for the weight conscious road fixeh rider are very limited.

Everything is aluminium and 1.5kg+, whereas <1kg road frames are everywhere.

  • I'd like to see more light fixed frames but I'm not sure there's too much of a market between the super sensible scoble types, silly fixeh skidders and track racers.

  • I'm sure you're right.

Frame weight is probs insignificant on a true track bike.

I'm going to ring my local Parlee dealer for a price on this :

    but I know I can't afford it.

  • That is bloody lovely.

Modas are vey light for OTPs and priced very well!

  • 800g of frame flex :)

It'll be ok if he's only producing 800w's.

My Seta frame is a 56cm and weights more than your 58cm Seta?

    How does that work??
