Doug1as, I agree with your post. Bob Jackson have an international reputation, that was not won overnight, but over time, by giving customers a high quality product, along with a similar service.

You weren't buying some cheapie knock-off, you were buying quality, and you didn't get it. Should you complain? F*ck yes, you should. Should they have tried to weazle out of their contract with you (to provide you with a NEW frame)? No they shouldn't.

People who think that the NAME Bob Jackson, in some way lets them off from having to give an excellent service to all, I hope when you order a Bob, its a lemon, then you can HTFU, just ride it, and don't say a c*nting word.

I thought I was being a great help - responding to Loft7's plea for clarity over who was slinging shit at whom.

Thing is I do find this funny, cos it keeps happening - people post their bad experiences with bike shops etc. on here, and then get told to HTFU and sort it out instead of whingeing on a public forum. In this case Doug1as sorted it out and then posted, which is fine by me. I just love the way in which what is just a post with some vaguely useful information turns into a a slanging match, and I love the way people complain about wasting their time reading posts as if someone was holding a gun to their head...

To be honist Doug1as you have done pretty well today. First few posts that are acctualy relativly meeningfull (Better than most, my posts still arnt meeningfull). Some good editing skills. And you got your Bob Jackson sorted out. Don't mind all the bickering on here. Out of a few 1000 odd members a few are going to find your thread pointless and a few arn't. Thats just life. Oh, and I wont be buying a Bob anytime soon now.
