There where a load of anti-abortion demonstrators in Bath this weekend, just standing by some roadworks with possibly the most redundant set of signs in the world.

Abortion - a baby can live without it.Yeah. That is pretty much how it goes, according to my understanding of the issue.
I leant out the window and started shouting 'THE RIGHT TO BODILY AUTONOMY SHOULD BE THE MOST SACRED OF ALL RIGHTS PROTECTED BY LAW' but I am totally unsure how much they got or how much they understood considering it was punctuated with lots of swearing and both fingers gesticulating wildly.
What a atavistic rally, does anyone even consider it an issue any more?

spotted a guy in plattfields yesterday, orange track frame, white wheels, white plastic bmx pedals.... BRAKELESS and STRAPPLESSSS!!! he was trying to do wheelys, i would have said something but i was far too busy chilling on the grass drinking cider :)
after having spds or riches straps, i find it hard stopping brakeless with actual toeclips, it scares me to think he rides like that with no fucking idea

the wimmin get there real early and the protesting freaks are there all day, pestering people as they go in. the thing is i'm not sure about causing even more of a scene as it's already pretty full on with them there and many of the wimmin just want to go in quietly- obviously it's quite an emotional time....so having a bunch of others there shouting, all be it counter anti abortion, could also be pretty upsetting...i think more thought to how it could be done is required
