We (Sheffield) are looking into sorting ourselves out with a warehouse in conjunction with the Sheffield Roller Derby lads + lasses. One of the things we wnated to make use of is the exemption from business rates, which I believe you lot benefit from. The rollers had some contact with the council, but were told this was only available for registered charities - any chance you could share your expertise with us on this or any other matters? We seriously need to set a date for are open/ns tournament! the NS says you need 8 weeks notice on a tournament, so if we are still thinking mid may then we would need to announce nowish. so maybe we should confirm a date on sunday. think we were thinking the 19th/20th may but there was a problem with the girls? maybe we can sweet talk them and try and work something out.
