  • are you going with the 27th? next saturday?

    yes

  • Will definitely come down and check it out!

  • Josh, here's some sexy Paul Comp porn for you.

  • Something stirred in my pants when I saw this too...

    (Scroll down to Bash Guard)

  • Manu uses that guard.. I was looking into it ages ago. The guard is only like fourty quid but only fits the eno cranks. they are around two hundred+!

And if you are thinkigni seatpost porn then check this: (nsfw)

One day I will own one of these.

Looks like the Eno cranks are around £135... Which is a hell of a lot more than the £70 I paid for my Sugino (of which the SPA Cycles own brand clones are £20)... Yikes, bike porn is expensive even if it is delicious USA made goodness.

  • Sexxxy

  • stop buying USA and buy british (says me with profile parts)

  • If you can find me some British bike companies that actually manufacture their parts in the UK I'd love to take a look...

Ok so there's Hope Components... Brooks (actually owned by an Italian company but still)... a handful of frame builders...

  • But as you said, at least Profile are an American company that still (with the exception of their seats) manufacture in the United States.

  • just one thing, that bashguard is build in with the chainring, so when the chainring teeth wear off, you have to bin the whole thing... no good

True, but exactly the same problem with the $100 Milwaukee guards.

  • (Not that I'm rushing out to buy either, I just like the way they look)

  • the Milwaukee guards are not build with the chairnring, they use chainbolts, not the same

  • and for UK components, Goldtec is really good

I was under the impression they were all one piece.

  • and you are completely right... my apologies, I thought the opposite, such a stupid design

  • Thanks for the tip about Goldtec though, just when I had lost faith in the UK manufacturing industry. Their stuff is awesome too.
