Watch out for the Rouen and Karlsruhe tournaments, it'd be better not to clash? What about something in March? The March polo calendar looks bleak at the moment?
Max (London) was thinking about renting the space from you for a London organised tournament too, if Cambridge would be cool with that, etc?

yeah well we have the space until april so could do..
we will talk tonight at polo about things and post back :)

Loving the new court , surface is very quick on the ball and great for laser guided passing . I'm looking up on Ebay for some more sodium lights. London organized tournament would be really cool as far as i'm concerned , feeling organizey burn out after all the chasing around getting this space sorted .Not fancying the extra grief at the moment .We need more time to pretty up all the facilities and boost the lighting .

Definatly think you should try bouncing the lights off the ceiling, will act as a giant difuser, may lose some brightness (would have to test, but could make up for it with more lights) but will get rid of the harsh shadows/glare, so would be much easier on they eyes.
48x16 isn't quite the right ratio for polo! Still had a laugh mind, need to put some pennies in the pot too.

The plan is sodium lights higher up , use less wattage for greater lumens . The ceiling is too high and off white and the warehouse too dark for your solution . We are limited in the current we can draw through extension cables and one 13amp plug.

How high are the ones at barnwell?
Matching them would work well if you can get a fairly even spread, and the extra height will reduce the shadows.Defiantly should be careful with the power, Last thing we would want is to burn the place down!

Cool, I've been shooting in there with a 2.8 around 1600/3200 and struggling to get anything near 1/60th without being badly underexposed.
(Camera nerd out over)
looking nice!!!!
