What's the verdict on polo this evening? It does look a little snowy out, although it didn't snow last night. I haven't seen the court so I don't know. I still have some fucked correx sheets so I'd be happy to go and try to clear some of the court but I think the biggest problem is ice.
Thoughts?

I need to go to town afterschool so I can get some grit?
-
• #3155
If someone is not busy after work maybe they could swing by b&q or somewhere of that nature and buy a big bag of salt grit? Could this be covered out of the subs? I can bring a spade at around 7, but won't have a chance to get salt before then! What you lot think?

being a pessimist for a second, salt won't do anything unless we can work it in with a broom and that's going to take ages.
if someone can get there at half 6, with broom/spade and grit and work on the court tonight then we can keep the lights on and i can reimburse grit costs through the polofund no problemo, just need to know before midday as thats the cut off point to cancel. personally i'd rather pedal my MTB in the snow tonight.

Lets not do it, i'm bored of being cold...........
-
• #3158
i think it's a sensible proposition. i'll wait til the wire (midday) to see if anyone can lend themselves to the cold icy night before cancelling though and confirm on here.

Shitipedia says:
Anyone may use a grit bin to clear a public path or road, though they are generally not intended for personal use
