this weather is where the 26ers shine through! next week until about new year im going to be on my old bike as im getting a new frame which only has disc mounts, so i need new calipers and lever and get the dual brake set up!!

It hasn't snowed which is good but it may be icy. I rotated my tyres last night for some super grip. I have a cold weather ball and I always bring some game (and that game is not bumface). I have my dead sheep gloves.

Baker is away this weekend so someone will have to bring a broom.

I'd be keen to see how it's looking tomorrow evening before definitely canceling. Alternatively, we could cancel and if it's not looking too bad hit Arbury?

Mat, have you got the Sigma DP1 or DP2? Lovely results almost tempted to replace my slr gear with one!

I've got the DP1. If it broke, I wouldn't replace it. It's ok but it's low light capability is terrible (those shots have just been subject to a hell of a lot of post) and the photographs are not very hi–res at all. The DP2 may be better, I have no idea.

We're gonna need a meetying to sort out what kind of bleedin food your going to stuff into your cake holes. Can it not be an edgier meeting in a pub after you have all eaten your specific dietary requirements ?

It has a great surface Rik , really grippy but smooth and quick
