you reckon it's worth meeting the landlord to see what can be done?

It's not like people are giving away warehouses like they're going out of style, especially in Cambridge. What's the catch?

  • too dusty

  • & lift to nowhere in the middle of one side.

  • Cost?

  • The catch is its going to be knocked down to make a trillion bedded travelodge so even more tourists can stay in cambridge 'n spend their pennies on my stall. So its got a mega short lease i.e this winter . If we can be bothered it can be done.

I am erring on the side of lethargy , who has keenness ?

    Toast ?

I think it sounds incredible. Even if it did get us through the winter, it means we'd be kicked out in time for Spring, then we'll have Barnwell, Arbury and who knows where else to play in the sunshine.

I'm assuming we'd need to pitch in for raw materials to build some sort of wooden surround (similar to Berlin perhaps?) and then after that? Is there rent/electricity/rates to pay?

  • there was loads of spare wood and other parts we could use to make a court....

  • Picture of the MTB build so far:

the only things i really sort of need is a thin saddle (like a charge spoon) and a rear v brake.

im worried that as the rear wheel has no braking surface will it screech? fingers crossed it doesnt.

    thanks for looking.

They may not be "spare" i.e not belonging to someone

  • finally got a new polo best shall be at polo tomoz :) but anyone got a drill i can borrow? need to make a new mallet all mine are as bent as bakers knob!

looking good, the brake should be ok, it will wear through the anodising pretty quick. from memory the rim has a dip/seam running along the middle, it might not be the best braking but it'll do.

  • im down!

  • Yo Cambridge!

I'm thinking of riding up one morning (sat/sun) in the next month or so, to play some polo with you lot. What's the best day on a weekend to play?

    G

we usually play on a sunday from 11-12am until we get too tired to play :P

Sounds good. Wont be this weekend, but sometime soon I think.

Sweet ! We'll get some cider in

dont give him cider, he has the stomach fuck up big time.

  • Ouch ! Cider burns !
He won't want Hayden's and Devon's cider from last year then , it has a guaranteed gut ache finish with subtle white pine aroma.

  • you can safe some of those for me, nothing worng with my stomach ;)

  • Its all about the sloe gin this winter , loads easier to make
