Can someone double check the math on the package dimensions I came up with and see if you agree?
Here are the pole dimensions:
Overall Length: 49"
Length of Straight Section: 35"
Diameter of Straight Section: 0.73"
Length of Taper: 14"
Diameter @ End of Taper: 0.46"
Powder Coated: "Eddie" Orange
Weight: 195 gramsHere's what I reckoned for packaging:
195 (grams) * 59 = 11,505 / 454 = 25 pounds.
Height: 53”
Length: .75 * 15 = 13”
Width: .75 * 4 = 4” -

if you alternate the taper each row and do 10x6 rows you can get 7.6" x 3.1". you could probably say 8x4 for some allowance. also, usually "length" is the largest measurement. and thanks in advance for bringing group buy love to the uk poloverse again matt

One pole left. I don't want to see the number 60 appear on this list.

Yo what's the deal? Do we want to pay $229 for shipping, i.e,. $4 per pole?
-
• #285
What will that work out per pole Dr V?
-
• #286
Todd are you viewing this thread in the 6th dimension again?
$4 per pole?
-
• #287
Ha! I meant full cost inc shipping. Prob says here somewhere but I'm stuck in 7th heaven

So we saying $20 per pole all in?
Might be customs on that...
-
• #289
I think it's $17 per pole plus taxes.
Currently looking at £11.40 per pole.
-
• #290
might re think if so
-
• #292
Under £12 for 7075 would be pretty cheap for a pair. Sounds a lot for each pole.

• #293
$17 per pole including taxes.

I don't need any anymore. I found some here for a similar price and figured I didn't want to wait.
If you've already ordered them Vidal, I won't drop out unless someone else wants mine.

cross country skiing poles (like that decathlon link) are much thinner than normal ski poles, I had one, it was half the diameter of my normal ski poles, it lasted less than half as long as my trusty intersport 110.

£11 each. I'm out.
