finished a ride for my missus (with the help of GBH). Her name is Laura, give her a shout if you see her wobbling down a road near you. I'm well pleased with how this turned out (the hubs and spokes will be silver eventually but I'm impatient!)

didn't cost that much, £150 for the frame including powdercoat, the seat and saddle bag cost a bit but my wife's grandad worked for Brooks for a long time so thought it was a nice touch

That's a lovely ride! It'll be sweet as with silver spokes. Really nice colours as well, makes it all the better.

she rode it to work today, she says that 'braking with your legs is really addictive'. looks like she might stay fixed. she was really good at getting her feet in the clips yesterday and I didn't really understand why. Apprently she is used to it 'from spinning class'.

what gear is she running?, i tried to get my girlfriend riding fixed but had to settle for singlespeed in the end as she didnt like "having to pedal ALL the time" !

no it got robbed but i have it in another format. it def does need to be seen. the basement bar in the deaf institute will let us watch films there for free if we book it out. if people are up for it????

the video got robbed from the basement along with my bike dvd collection. was totally gutted. as i said i can replace though..
