  • Wow! Birmingham doesn't look like a total shit hole from that building!

  • Birmingham - a beautiful city...above eye level!

  • Great video. I like the transition from the dark where it's just a reflection of you filming and then you get into the light it's momentarily blinding until the city comes into view. I think it's the view from that relatively new building on the corner of Church Street and Cornwall street, looking up the hill towards the cathedral. You can see that tall building at the bottom of Colmore Row on the left and the Rotunda in the distance. When the camera pans left you see the Wesleyan Hotel. Am I right?

  • Nice video Hyper. Is that (one of) the tallest building(s) in brum?

Pompino got a few trinkets today. B17 Narrow and a Carradice junior. Not had much chance to ride yet but riding around the car park outside my flat, it feels pretty good...

Also getting the matching front wheel built by Atkins in Leamington at the moment. Should have it next week! Open Pro with Dia Compe hub to match the rear.

  • Sweet, hows the carradice? Thinking of getting one on payday...

  • It's nice, but it attatches differently to how I was expecting. Riding around, I find the back of my thighs catch on it, but not so much as to be annoying.

Time will tell. I may opt for the SQR mechanism, which moves the bag to a different position all together...

  • Yeah you definitely need to buy a support for the bigger ones. Bit of a catch really!

  • @Barry - I see what you mean about the Coni tyre.. It feels really soft when you skid. I can imagine it wearing pretty quickly.

  • Beasted out this feeble stall on some DIY concrete yesterday no worries on the way back into Worcester from a 25 mile jaunt out towards Malven.

  • yeah right!

  • Spesh tom.

  • More Surly love...me and the roller on 'Black Tie' Ride. Yep, I'm just chuffed I rode in those shoes to be honest. Waiting on a new brake, saddle and cranks and I'll be a happy rider.

  • I want a surly :/

  • Don't make me start gushing. Seriously, it was love at first ride. That's not my usual romantic take on things though.

  • Love the colour of the pearson. Nice.

  • thanks

  • Yeah the Pearson is sooo nice

  • My rat bike: Barry Hoban tribute made by Coventry Eagle. Picked it up yesterday for 40 quid.

  • Is there meant to be a picture there?

Thats quick work Stu, where did you get it from? At 10am you were bikeless, now this?

  • There's a piccy on my screen, maybe refresh? Collected it last night from cannock. Couple of hours on the train.

  • Ah, works now. Looks good! Nice bit of chrome. What size?

  • Haven't measured it yet, probably about 58/60cm, pretty big, but fits me being 6 foot. It's got chrome bars as well under that god-awful yellow sellotape. Gonna try and show that off somehow

  • Can't see the pic myself. Sounds interesting though.
