Sorry BDW, I have no idea, i'm not that IT/web literate. I'm keen to get a hold of a copy compilation if people have already made their own, hence the idea of being able to download it would be awesome.

~~ For the partay how about just creating a playlist on Youtube and playing the music off that? Hook-up the Laptop to some speakers, sort out tracklist and job done? I've already been doing this with my Youtube account and cherry picking tracks people have posted into a Bright Times playlist.~~

Perhaps I offered a solution to a non existant problem.

I know there is a fair few peeps with some DJ skills on here.I'm not one of them though.

The only problem i have with it is that for me it goes against the whole spirit of the music....everything on the bright times thread is old soul,funk,fusion,80's soul..etc...it all came out on vinyl...and was always played on vinyl by djs....i guess maybe i'm just old school? but for me...playing it all off cds and laptops...at least for the first one anyway, just seems disrespectful.
But like i say...that's just me....whatever you guys do i'm sure you'll have a great night.

Surely betwen us we can come up with enough Bright Times gold on vinyl to have a bomber soundtrack to the evening.

I'm with Scott on this one - making up comps is cool and a great way of passing tunes around but if it's a Bright Times night then it's got to be peeps dropping the vinyl -

There's no flo or spontaneity if you're justing playing a bunch of random tracks of a cd or ipod and there's enough peeps on here that can step up - Teens, snowy, jamas, SNS, doubletap etc
