The beater i bought from Luca. Found a BMX seatpost (with seat) that fitted. 26mm post. Had a look under BB looks like the frame is an old BSA. Since this pic i have stuck a rear brake on (with a red bmx lever to add to the mismatched character). Looking for a box/basket to lash to the rack so i can make runs to the fish and chip shop as well as the pub. Cheers for this bike Luca. Took it out for a spin and couldn't stop smiling.

^ Nice. Any advice on where to get decent/cheapish straps? want some for my ss mtb, especially as it may become a polo bike.

The Touring bike is complete, apart from Mudguards. Single speed touring FTW!

not hugely light, prob about 3.5lbs but certainly lighter than the one it replaced.

Apologies first as it's probably not the right place to post this.
I got this bike second hand and it seems to have some sort of anti-thief (I guess) seat post clamp: it has a Allen bolt with only 5 sides !
Anybody came across such thing before ? -

Haven't been on here for a while. My bikes are still the same. I have just ordered rigid forks for my mtb from planet x. Reckon it'll look pretty sweet and ,more importantly, will ride better on the road. As the forks are plain matt black I will sticker bomb them with the decals from the recent MBUK Anniversary mag.
My beater still rides smooth and wobbly! The Tourer is criminally underused. The racer is hanging up without a chain at present.

Nice, Tom.
I admit i have never set up drops with levers like this, but after a quick ride i like the feel. This will not be a bike for epic journeys.
I ordered some Cinelli bar tape earlier from Wiggle.
Once that is on and i find some funky pedal straps/clips this budget beast will be done.
