hills bridge is the best, you just tuck in your shoulders and squeeze thorugh....the oncoming lane is pretty open too.
whatever, you didnt fall of skidding then?
Haha, that's awesome. I live next door to the college so I have to go over the bridge nearly every day. I didn't fall off, but at that point where you're skidding for a bit and the tyres just bite the pavement again, the kickback you get is ridiculous... 50/17 + flats ftw!

ASSEEN....got a sweet claud butler old racing frame....but has had a ding at some point (bit of a fold on top tube as it gets to the forks end (lokks like it hit a car or wall?....you up for straightening it or chopping it out and making it shorter....and of course put some track ends on. Other news ... I hit a tourist yesterday and went full over smacking head on curb, breaking pedals etc so thurs is unlikely for me!

I went to see Polpot , but he wouldn't let me in ,so i stayed outside drinking, trying to look winsome . Sounds like your frame is pretty shagged to be honest i'll see what i can do . Send any tourists to my stall please i need those euros.

I built myself this today for my aladins cave of bike parts my dad left me.
rear wheel has been stripped off a pre-built fixie which i didnt like riding.
front is a mavic rim on an old skool campag hub
campag cranks, pedals and rings (running on the inside ring as the only chain i had wasnt long enough and it makes a better chainline.)
should be dropping down from a 20 to a 16 cog on the back.dead happy with it, rides so nicely :)

• #143
^^^ very nice that
can you not just remove the larger ring from the cranks?
gets some straps or sumin cause riding brakeless with just flat pedals is politely a bad idea. -
• #144
yeah, i will stick straps on, got some in the garage, but like a little kid at christmas building it, and just wanted to take it for a ride. haha.
gonna go get some bar tape tomorrow, so will have another little tinker and take her for a proper ride tomorrow sometime.
