And so did I, last night. I stacked my Capo 5, did my Superman impression over the bars, then took a few moments to be unconscious. Bliss. When I tried to open my eyes, I was face-down, and quite bemused by the amount of blood merrily leaving my body, through my head. I shook my hand at do-gooders that wanted to lift me out of the road (near Harrods), and after wiggling my toes better than Uma Thurman, I dragged myself up. The tap, that was the blood leaving the top of my head, refused to stop flowing, so I slapped my hand on it, and did HTFU.

I asked for my bike (my first words, nautrally), and observed that apart from blowing the tube/tyre, she was ok. Relief. A few hours later, and with 8 stitches holding skin together around my skull, I'm fine. Sore in the legs, arse and oddly, neck regions, but apparently, I'm going to live. Those of you who employed a shamen to get me to stop lists, will have to get a better shamen.

I might take Monday off work, but the sawbones said I can drink, so it might be an earlier than usual Southies for me.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm lucky to be alive, but more importantly, the bike is ok.

HTFU? Too right.

Most importantly. Have you tried to make a list since the accident? Do you still have the powers? It would be a terrible loss. Try a little one first, maybe dust caps or chain ring bolts.

Personally i would've stitched myself up there and then using a broken spoke and some pubes- But that's just me.
