Try ribble or decathlon plus a puncture repair kit will save you even more money.
Tyres will loose pressure, fact of life.

140psi is too high for the road. No really, it fucking is. Shutup.
Fix your punctures rather than buying new tubes.
Don't use conti tyres.
C02 carts are shit. Real men use pumps.
Ribble, Wiggle and others have bulk tyre packs. I bought a bunch of Vittoria tubes a while back since I like their tyres. -

Ok will lower the pressure and fix my tubes.
Was not aware of your contiphobia - its never been alluded to here before.
I use a pump, thanks for endorsing my masculinity - though I did wear a pink shirt to West drinks this week in your honour. -

I have people watching you.. which is why I knew about the pink shirt.. which is why I was unable to attend. Shame on you!

Darling Hippy
But it coordinated with the pink trim on my Rapha jacket.
I think we should organise a secret santa on the forum. If we had enough money we'd get you a pink rapha jersey and edscoble his very own unipak.

While you're at it, get some armadillos too...
Given you've been running those stelvios for months, they must be getting fucked about now.

i've heard good things about conti gatorskins.
(never used them though)
asm's seemed to hold out pretty well even with big holes in them!i think your best bet, however, is to cycle over less sharp objects ;-)

Do you mean objects that are not as sharp or fewer sharp objects? Just trying to save you before Platini gets here.

Murts
I was not aware could get colour coordinated inner tubes, though Hippy's favourite Conti tubes do come with orange caps
the next project is a metallic John Major, clearly you have been an inspiration

is your general level of aggression because you never get to ride Cunti tubes?
your fear of pink now becomes clear!

You called them Cunti tubes hehe
My work here is done.
I don't fear pink, it started off as a cityboy bashing exercise when I shifted office.. it escalated.
Pink is still a shit colour. :)

And what is the reason behind your hatred of Conti tyres?
-
• #21
Rubino Pro are a damned good price/performance compromise.
I've used plain Rubino and didn't like them too much and the higher end ones are quite nice but more prone to cuts and over twice the price!
-
• #22
I agree with the Rubino Pro comment- they had the p*ncture resistance of a soap bubble, but were nice and light, quite grippy also.
I take one along as my spare tyre just in case one of my Continental Attack/Force gets shredded.
Now why do you hate Conti, why I ask you?!

And what is the reason behind your hatred of Conti tyres?
I was jilted by a German lover at the altar. She worked for Continental.
I don't like them because they have QC issues so half their tyres are "ok" and the other half are shithouse. Many people have complained about their weak sidewalls and the last time I used a pair they p_nct_red so often I removed them and put my cut to fuck Rubinos back on. It's may be unreasonble hatred but I need something other than the pink shirt thing. :)

recently bought a bunch of conti tubes off wiggle. 4 punctures in 3 wks. in good weather too...all three punctures looks like a split in the 'seam' of the tube. im buying more patches and switching back to vittoria tubes
-
• #25
continental tubes are a bit shite. i've been through three since i've been here in berlin. same quality control issues, often splits at the seams. i'm not a fan.
Had 2 p*%^tures this week.
I want to get a pack of 5 or 10 tubes (long presta for deep v rims).
Any suggestions as to the best shop.
Also is there much difference between the different manufacturers. I tend to run my tyres at high pressure (140 psi) but need to add more air to the tyres every day or so.
