Who do I sue if I use this spoke length calculator and it turns out to be wrong?
-

Switched to ffox - computer says no...

jQuery - nice, like the way you have put that together

Only thing I don't really like is all the Red that flashes around when you've selected a search result. Using red signifies that there has been an error, rather than something successfully happened.
otherwise, nice one.

True but why else would I give them a job?

You will be pleased to know that I offer a full refund of the usage fees you paid for using my calculator.

Good point. Hadn't thought about that and will change it.
EDIT: Changed the colours to dark blue and light blue. Again, hit Shift+Reload to get your browser to refresh everything.

Should be a button called "SEARCH". Much more user friendly.
It should swear at you when you click it too. -

Cool. My consultancy fee is being prepared for binding and will be couriered over before close of play today.

You might loose a few people (those living below the gamma line) with black on dark blue for your spokes and crosses selected boxes.
Squint or otherwise put your eyes out of focus and you can see what might and might not be visible on a crap monitor.

Loose a few people? Only with one of these..

But what about the cost of the spokes?!?!!?! I would have used your calculator in good faith that it was accurate. What if i ended up with £40 worth of unusable spokes that I couldn't get a refund on?!!?! -

I am forcing no-one to use this and encourage discussion about it on here. If you find something that isn't right, put it in this thread.
As I said, the calculator uses the same formula as Damon Rinard's one, which has a large amount of credibility and was recommended by Sheldon Brown.

you try and do something useful.. put in a disclaimer.
nice work.

You are buying from a shitty shop.

I'm only winding you up, but anyway, I think you should put in a disclaimer, that you are not responsible for the content, accuracy etc. and that it's intended as a guide. Not that I think it's actually going to turn out inaccurate, but you know, it's always good to have a disclaimer, just in case.
Anyway, now I know the correct spoke length for when I buy a pair of open pro's for my formula hubs, so.. cheers!

Excellent work. Like it. I have the ERD for H Plus Son which I measured last week during a build - 557mm. I'll keep adding more hub specs to my site as and when I get them. Feel free to take it. But if you implement a way to enter data on your site then I could pop it in there too. You'll need lots of validation checks so that erroneous data doesn't get in there such as flange diameters of 200mm or whatever.
