HA! awesome. i'd rep you if i could be bothered.

Ed - you can claim that back. Look it up on the money blogs... Don't take those.
oh I did, a couple days in Barclay sorted that out, especially I was a student that time and should have an overdraft limit.

Vinylvillain, you are probably a victim of automation. HSBC will have rest the risk calculators based on account activities and made the changes automatically without human intervention.
I would suggest setting up a meeting with your branch manager to discuss the matter and delivering an ass kicking. Complain about the inconvenience, lack of communication, impact on your business and embarrassment of not being able to spend your own money whilst in credit. Offer to relocate your company finances without restitution. I reckon you should be good for £50 for about half an hours work.

Banks are odd mysterious places. I got a 'we're gonna send the boys round if you don't pay up' months before I was due to start paying off a graduate loan. Then out of the blue they cancelled the overdraft on my current account. I say out of the blue, a helpful chap at the branch said he just noticed that the bank was due to cancel my overdraft that day so he rang me to suggest I should get to a cash machine and lift as much cash as I could to last me the 5-7 days it would take to reinstate my overdraft. Which they eventually did.

Can't we invoke anti-slavery laws to get access to HSBC money?
- We're all black (heh, heh)
- We're tied to the bank in an unfair contract
- We are being victimised
- Some of us are still slaves (Shoreditch, Old Street whores, heh, heh)
- We're all black (heh, heh)

VeeVee, you don't get it do you? Jaygee is hardly going to rescue you from a puncture, especially as his position is Official Punturer-In-Chief.

HSBC learned their lesson when they tried to charge me for going over my account balance. In Oz, once you hit $0, that's it, no more cash. Here, they let you continue and then charge the shit out of you for it. Call 'em up and don't put the phone down until they've removed the charges (or sorted out whatever issue you have). Moved Mal to HSBC after the jismlickers at Barclays wouldn't pay out on her phone insurance that she'd been paying for 2 years..

I didn't have any problems taking out cash from HSBC today. They did charge me £44 on Monday for going over my over draft limit. And I have a personal loan from them. And I earn jack shit. If I am not a high risk then who is?

;-Dan overdraft? don't have one. but if companies continue to pay later and later i may have to get one. it seems that bigger businesses want to hold onto their money as long as possible.
