no idea mate, im stuck in work atm, will call/visit them when i get home, plus i need to confirm the exact address of the place

Tell the cops you think they might be using the proceeds of their bike thieving to fund a terror cell. That'll make sure they take action.

FREE DRUGS - for anyone willing to hang a bike thief - trippy shit watching a geezer swinging from a tree on LSD

We have a deal with the drug dealers across the back alley from us. Don't bother us and we won't bother you.

This is deviating from the original post, but I thought all should know about bike theft in Islington.
Two days ago my wife witnessed a brazen theft right outside the Old Queens Head pub on Essex Road, Islington. Guys standing and chatting with hand on seat, balancing the bike. Pair of thieves on a motorcycle ride past and scoop the bike without stopping. Our brave compadre put up a fight, but to no avail. Sorry, no specs on bike or ID. Best to keep an eye out. If anyone has more info, maybe it should be posted.

-
• #42
Approach them (or get a mate to if they know your face) say you want a bike,,, see what happens after that.
-
• #43
tell the cops they're dealing drugs to kids.

Do coppers still do that?
-

dont call the cops. go into the cop shop, take the name/number of the person at the desk and anyone else who you deal with there. they take you more seriously if you are face to face.
that is a misconception as every call is recorded, all you have to do is get a reference at the time of your call so that you can query what is being done, it's also a lot quicker than queueing for an hour at you local station.

A tad obvious. Next time you ride by, compliment them on their bike and mention that you're looking for something similar for whatever that bike is most suited to and ask how it rides. If they offer to sell it off the bat then job done, call cops.
That's if you want to bother with confirming your not unreasonable suspicions.
Incidentally, anyone see the BBC news article on bike theft. Not brilliant but a decent start.

well tried the cop shop, humm not the most helpful feckers...but anyway told them where it was and kinda bikes im seeing about...after a few minutes of gentle pushing and also pointing out the fact thats its on the fecking road opposite the main police staion (so why the fuck wouldnt they look into it...ffs just look out your windows you lazy C**ts) they said they would investigate it.
Not holding much hope on this but i may try the old after a new bike routine and go from there, but hey at least it's a step in the right direction

And you know you've done the right thing... ;-)

Smear them with shit, no one will want to buy a bike from them then.

Who, the coppers? They might not take to that kindly.
