For those who care, I was beaten by 10 minutes in the bike vs car race from SE to norfs!

How long did it take you to get from Roebuck to car though? I'm thinking for fairness bike + car should really leave pub at the same time. But then I'd really have to ride like a maniac to clinch victory.

5 minutes home and then another 5 minutes to put my bike away with a broken wrist and get my car keys and then another 5 minutes in the car until i was back passing the roebuck!

on a side note, has anyone noticed that the barrier just by the roebuck has been moved so that the gap you have to cycle through is much smaller?

I used to be able to fly through it, it felt a bit uncomfortable (tight swerving) this morning, so on the way home I checked the ground and it's actually been moved!!

No not the car today, the hostipal put me in a new cast which is a bit more solid and i am now able to hold my handlebars properly!
