what kind of bike is it? need any bits to make it work?
Dunno yet, here's what I've got to go on:
Women's race bike
it's about 20 years old and a pergeot make.
suitable for someone between 5"5 and 5"10.
It's a bit rusty and one of the break handles have come off but all it needs it a bold to repair. Rides fine but could do with a service.adventurebike!

People may want to keep their distance from me, I got sent home from work earlier for looking really ill.
I'll just watch you from afar. Pawing the glass.

on my way soon, hope I don't have to wait around like a tool for someone with a lock
Also I double checked the boozer, good thing too, I was initially heading for the Famous Kings Arms by LB, not the one east side of tower bridge... heh heh

Nice to see some new SE faces - glad to make acquaintances of Clever Pun, magpie00 and shootthebreeze and a well-overdue appearance by Pajamas (next time I'll actually talk to you - sorry dude!). Also cheers multigrooves for the awesome ribs and chips you were sharing out. El Squire - apologies again for not recognising you on the road - can't believe you followed me that far and didn't shout out (you were too out of breath keeping up eh? ;-)). Also nice to catch VeeVee and Jay briefly, and well done Eddy for making it back again. Also regulars Dammit, Gormley and of course the inimitable Charco (keep up the dancing!). Bring on the spoke cards proper!

Lovely to see everyone and meet villa-ru, shootthebreeze, el squire's other half and others, though I probably shouldn't have gone as I woke up this morning completely unable to speak. Whoops. If anyone I was talking to gets sick, I sincerely apologise.
See you all next week in better health

South east drinks was brilliant! Glad I decided to join the guys to ride down from north after just one drink...
Nice to see so many people and apologies for not recognizing everyone! -
• #665
You guys should reschedule North drinks to, like, Sunday. and have SE beers as the main event on Tuesdays.
-
• #666
We should resurrect central beers on it's original Tuesday date and you northern and south eastern arrivistes can sort yourselves out on other nights. ;p

Like The Outsiders

pft. Not enough convenient bike parking by the Lamb.
-
• #669
pft back. There's a big railing opposite. Just like at South east drinks. Added: I'm not sure if there is a basement for Will to drop his lock down mind.
-
• #670
Is there? Rats.
I don't know why I'm objecting to the Lamb anyway, it's about 2 minutes' ride from my office. But I have a place for SE beers in my heart now. so.

Keep this to yourself, but we even saw the mythical tynan creature at central drinks once. (He rode past in a flash of neon and then, like magic, was gone).

Just because you are scared of riding up a little hill.
