I made an inadvertent appearance at SEs earlier! Popped into PS to buy a tube and there was a forum cap on the bar- asked the guys standing next to it if they were south easts and they were v confused. It's just occurred to me that possibly @blowfish was sat at the bar with a pretty cool haircut (been about 3 years so apologies if it's not new!)
Hope it's a good night y'all. -

hey guys, sorry to hijack this thread. I am currently trying to develop a documentary about London's cycle couriers and wondering if many (if any) attend this drinks as a pub sound like the best place to do research!
For the record i am a cyclist as well as a filmmaker.

Nope... Only Hipsters

I turn up on a motorbike if that helps.
Seriously though, there are usually 8-15 cyclists on a weekly basis....
allmost of them are friendly so you should pop down if you're making a film or not. -
• #27971
Hai.. Sorry, thought it might be you but didnt quite know how to broach it.
A friendly 'do a skid!' will usually do the trick, especially indoors. :)
-
• #27972
Some are a little too friendly, though. :)

The bastards, ruining our sullied name!

An Eggcorn i guess... Whats the correct term?
Ah rubbish. And no worries. My thought process while I was out riding was basically "I'd rather be in the garden having a BBQ" but by the time I had enough signal to share that it was too late.
Will make something happen soon, maybe even for people with jobs.
