Been like that for a while now, moderator already been nodified.

Think it's since they merged this thread started by Ant whoever that is - Rosie may know - and the one started by Festus. Link must have been to the killed thread.

Before the merge, Festus' thread was the one with hundreds of pages, but Ant's was the older one.

That is indeed what happened. Ant was OG. I met him once on a ride to the Catford Hill Climb. Then Festus wanted drinks in his house and SEs established itself there.

I remember Ant, don't think he came to the old KA drinks much but he was conspicuous on Jamaica Rd by the blue bike as per his avatar. Haven't seen him around for years though. /old

True, a blue bike just stands out when everybody else's bikes are black, green, and yellow.

I just assumed SE beers was a need to know / invite only affair.

Ah yes.. recently upgraded its revenue protection barriers.
Used be able to walk out direct though the pub.
Only seem to be operational 40% of the time

In tonight if I decide I don't fancy a 7 mile run on top of my 22 mile commute.
