What size seat post?
I'm in lewisham and my shed has a few spares.
standard? Not sure. 6pt/TCB? Any ideas?I've got a few around, maybe a saddle too. I've got a chain in some inner tube round saddle rails and seat stays after somebody walked away with mine. I'm sure reeeen will be able to help you with some other methods.
awesome! Any chance you might have 2 chains?oh no your 29er saddle with the alien? :(
yeah... Fucking annoyed. Oh well. -

only the one :( don't have an innertube you can run it through, either.
re: seatpost,
http://www.vitusbikes.com/city-bikes-2013/dee-29-2013#specification
website unhelpfully doesn't say, but it looked 27.2 to me. -

I conveniently have a puncture on the bike I didn't ride in today, so you can have the tube out of that if you need one.

Shed survey says...
Generic 27.2 seat post. Never fitted.
Stock Saddle from a Fuji track classic.
Decathlon chain, never fitted, took a bit off for a chain whip tool.
I probably have a used tube and a quick link to complete the job too.Yours for a can of coke at Easts tonight.
Or if you're in endz at the minute, I can deliver to you before I go on some errands? -

Quick link is overkill, just be careful removing the pins so you don't push it all the way and it'll be fine.

Bendix, your tube wound be awesome!
Private, that list is awesome! Happy to pay in cokes. Wouldn't need the saddle tho as I got one.
Only trick now is getting to SEs without a saddle :-) oh the lols I'll have on route!

Cool. I'll bring it tonight then. About 9pm.
Cheers. -

So guys when does this shebang usually kick off and die down?
It turns out all my worldly possessions are a fair many*, I spent til 6am packing and fucknoes how it's all moving south.
*Fucking materialism.

Is there any outside space at Cycles PS? I have a vague recollection of a door but that might've just been the toilets.
Not that it matters because I'll be riding my bike in the sunshine this evening*. Hurrah!
*though I may swing by post-ride once the sun's gone down

Happy to pay in coke.
2 grams should do it

The place closes at 11, and the young'uns keep it going until then I think, maybe beyond... Kicks off around 6ish I guess.
I want to go for a ride in the evening sun now :( But I also want beer, and pizza.

If work doesn't get the best of me, I'll try to swing by for a quickie!

I'm torn. A ride out to countryside after work would be good, with longer daylight with us, but I'd also like to drop in for a beer, but I'd also like to get home and spend time with family, but I also need to apply for moar jobs...
-
• #25293
Easy:
Have a long detour ride to SE, bring your laptop to apply for jobs whilst having quick beer with your surrogate family? ;)
-
• #25294
^ pretty good. If I go for a ride I'll make it there, sweaty and nasty for 9ish. Which sounds perfectly reasonable, actually. But 6ish would be more fun :/
-
• #25295
Oooh good idea - take the long way in and then some beers. Anyhow see you all there.

Mega lols...
You are me. Except about the riding bikes bit, fucking wierdo.
I'm at the pub right now, thought I'd fortify myself before attempting to climb up Highgate Hill. Got granny gears too.

Climbed London's Heaviest Bike TM up swains on 27x34 (yes you read that right! NOT 34x27) Heckling roadies shouting 'I think you're overgeared!'

I have about a zillion tubes I can offer. I keep them intending to repair and reuse but never do. Seems like you'll have it covered but I'll bring a few anyways.
I'm taking an 8sp chain off Rosie's Look when I get in tonight as I'm collecting a 9sp one from PS, so if you follow me home you can have it? It's not exactly old, but is (about to be) surplus to requirements.
PS sell chains if you're happy to throw money at it :/
