Just discovered that the Montpelier in Peckham (a drunken stumble from the Victoria) is owned by the Roebuck people. Curious.

SE pub Mafias. Just got confused why I was charged on my bank card for drinks at Jam Circus when I have never been there and it is currently closed after a fire. Found out its also owned by the company which runs royal albert/Catford tavern.

In other pub news Antic Ltd (the chaps who own the Albert and the Cat Tav) have just been granted planning permission to open another pub almost directly opposite my flat on Deptford High Street.

Its going to be called "The Job Centre". I shit you not.

It took over after the long-running pub folded. But not for long. No, neither of those is right. Oh, that's going to annoy me now...
